Sloths live in tropical forests. They can be found in Central and South America. They have long arms and look like monkeys – but, unlike the monkeys, they move very slowly (very)! The three drums are the slowest animal in the world. Sloths are more closely related to anteaters and armadillos.
The Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica tells the visitors about the huge role of the sloth in the environment. Baby sloths that get left behind by mothers, for whatever reason are cared for at the sanctuary.
