The city where 270,000 people live in the worst cold
When photographer Steeve Iuncker arrived in Yakutsk, the host girl who waited at the airport asked him if he had a hat and gloves. Outside it was minus (-51°F) 48 degrees Celsius. Iuncker would later understand why he needed these two things so essential in a place like Siberia. He confessed that the city is very cold and the camera is blocked by frost. In addition, a challenge was also the constant fog that hid the landscape.
