I admit it, as a woman, pregnancy has always scared me the hell outta me. And I know I’m not the only one. I’ve always wondered why guys can’t do it and we have to do the hard part. As it turns out, males can give birth. Well, at least male seahorses can. They are equipped with a brood pouch on their ventral in which the female deposits her eggs into when mating. The male is the one carries the eggs in his pouch until they hatch. Female seahorses are so lucky, giving birth sucks. But look at those adorable tiny horses popping out:
