Once upon a time in a small town, there lived a baker named George who was famous for his delicious cakes. George had a secret ingredient that made his cakes light and fluffy. One day, he decided to bake a gigantic cake for the town’s annual festival.
As George carefully mixed his ingredients, he accidentally added too much of his secret ingredient, which happened to be a rare type of yeast. Not thinking much of it, he placed the cake in the oven. Minutes later, to his astonishment, the cake began to rise… and rise… and rise! It grew so large that it pushed open the oven door and floated up, smashing through the ceiling of his bakery.
The townspeople gathered outside, gasping at the sight of the floating cake. George was frantic, chasing after it with a net. The cake soared higher and higher, eventually disappearing into the clouds.
Just as everyone thought the cake was gone for good, a sudden gust of wind blew it back down. It landed gently in the middle of the town square. The townspeople cautiously approached, and with a quick swipe, George cut into the cake.
Inside, they found a small note that read: “Congratulations! You’ve discovered the secret ingredient: helium!” George looked around, bewildered. It turned out the rare yeast he used was actually a special type of helium-infused baking powder. The townspeople erupted in laughter, and George, embarrassed but relieved, joined in.
The cake was served at the festival, and it became known as the first cake that could literally lift your spirits
