According to the brief description that was posted on YouTube along the video, the mic cut out partway through the performance and the Canadian fans took it from there! Some were surprised by the fact that Canadians knew all the words to the US national anthem, but it’s really not a big surprise. Canada and the US usually compete in hockey games and, usually, both anthems are played before the game. However, this is an awesome moment.
