Samantha loved hiking and exploring new trails. One weekend, she ventured into an unfamiliar forest, eager for adventure. However, after hours of trekking, she realized she was hopelessly lost. To make matters worse, her phone had no signal, and her GPS had died.
As Samantha wandered through the dense forest, she stumbled upon an old, seemingly abandoned cabin. Desperate and curious, she decided to check it out. Inside, she found dusty furniture, cobweb-covered corners, and, to her surprise, a stack of vintage board games.
Deciding she might as well make the best of the situation, she sat down and started playing an old game called “Dungeon Adventure.” She rolled the dice, moved the pieces, and even narrated the story out loud to herself. Hours passed, and just as she was getting bored, she heard a creaking noise.
Suddenly, the door burst open, and a group of hikers entered, laughing and chatting. They stopped in shock upon seeing Samantha. She looked up, equally surprised.
“Who are you?” one of them asked.
“Who are you?” Samantha retorted.
It turned out the cabin was actually a popular rest stop for a local hiking club, and the group had come for their weekly game night. They had no idea anyone else knew about the place. Samantha sheepishly explained her situation, and the hikers, amused, offered her snacks and a ride back to town.
As they left, one of the hikers joked, “Looks like you rolled a natural 20 in real life to find us!”
Samantha laughed, relieved that her adventure ended with new friends and a funny story, rather than a headline about a lost hiker
