Pigs are not exactly the first animal that pops to mind whenever you hear the word pet, but that doesn’t mean they don’t make for excellent companions. You may remember George Clooney and his pig that made international headlines a while back. Well, you don’t have to be a celebrity to have a small pig as a pet; you just have to be willing to try something out of the box.
Although there’s this myth going on about pigs being filthy animals, that’s actually not the case. Pigs can be washed, and don’t smell bed. Also, they are a lot of fun to be around, and they are as adorable as can be. As an added bonus, they also get along fine with other animals that are put in the pet category more often.
Just look at the little fellow in the video below. He’s definitely the center of attention and has no problem making friends with the other pets in the family. He is just as playful as your average puppy, and as sociable too.
