A dog in Spain which was nicknamed after a brand of spaghetti because she was so thin made a miraculous recovery thanks to a kindhearted owner of a rescue center. When the dog arrived at the animal rescue center, she was so thin that she couldn’t even stand up on her own. The pup had no muscle mass and was on the brink of death. Barilla only weighed 16 pounds. The staff at the center believe Barilla was most likely locked up somewhere without any food or water and just left to die. Now, the dog has a new chance at happiness.
