Let’s face it: we spend a lot more time in the shower than we actually need to. I’m done with the washing part after 4 or 5 minutes, but then the ‘wasting time and water because it feels so good’ part begins. Elisabeth Buecher, a textile-based installation artist and educator, came up with a genius idea to drastically reduce the time we spend in the shower. What’s different about this shower is its curtain. It turns spiky after four minutes of bathing, “taking over the space and discouraging long water-wasting showers.” To be honest, this shower looks quite fun despite its purpose!
