Holly Gerlach, a 26-year-old woman, saw her dream come true when she gave birth to a perfectly healthy little boy. But she didn’t get to experience all the beautiful things that come from being a new-mother for too long because three weeks after she gave birth, the young woman was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder called Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
