Davie Meinert, an African actor and filmmaker, adopted a four week old Great Dane from a dodgy breeder. The dog had a pigment deficiency that can often lead to serious health problems. Moreover, Davie was told his puppy wouldn’t live too long, but instead of getting rid of her, the man decided to enjoy whatever time he had left with her. He set about filming her and recorded every day they had left. Instead of obsessing about the future like many of us do, he was determined to stay focused on the present.
