It’s safe to say Neil Diamond has had one of the most impressive careers in music history. For no less than five decades, Neil has been making us fall in love with his incredible voice as well as his dedication to songwriting. There is no one like him, and even after all these years, he still manages to fill stadiums with people who’ve bought a ticket to witness his magic live.
However, fans from all over the world received worrying news this week. The legendary singer released a statement on his official website saying that he was diagnosed with Parkinson disease. Because of this diagnosis, Neil was forced to retire from touring, as the onset of the disease would make it impossible for him to travel safely and perform on a large scale basis.
However, according to the same release, Neil Diamond will continue to record music and will focus more on writing and other project developments.
Neil Diamond’s third part of the Diamond’s 50th Anniversary tour was set to land in Australia and New Zealand this March. If you want to learn more about this topic, then make sure to watch the video below.
