When was the last time you helped a complete stranger without asking or expecting anything in return? Most people have an honest desire to help others, but many of us think there’s not much we can do, either because we lack the financial resources, because we think our contribution won’t make a real difference, or just because we don’t know whom to help.
But the truth is that we can all do something to make the world a better place. We just have to pay attention to those around us and be willing to put some time and effort into doing something kind and selfless.
And these young men are definitely proof that it can be done.
The guys you see in the video below made headlines after they helped an elderly woman by mowing her lawn. The woman is too weak and old to take care of this herself, so the guys swooped in and offered to do it for free.
And she’s not the only person these young men have helped. It’s all a part of bigger project the boys started because they wanted to bring their contribution to their community.
