Trapped in a sewer, this cat came close to using all of its nine lives after spending a lot of time without food and water. Luckily, a group of firefighters went beyond their job description, stepped in and saved the cat before it was too late. The firefighters received a desperate call from a little girl, and even though they don’t usually intervene when it comes to animal rescue operations, that was one call they couldn’t ignore. Several firefighters popped open a manhole cover and jumped into the sewers to look for the cat. In the end, everything worked out and the cat is safe and sound.
