A tree that can grow more than forty different kinds of fruits at once might sounds like something you only see in a movie, but this amazing tree actually exists in real life. It is the result of years and years of research and continuous testing. The man behind this amazing project has always been fascinating with innovation and pushing things to the limit.
His name is Sam Van Aken, and he is a professor Syracuse University. After years of nurturing the tree and working with several people who didn’t always believed he could pull this off, his dream of creating something that was one-of-a-kind ultimately came true.
As he name clearly suggests, the ‘Tree of 40 Fruit’ can grow up to 40 different fruits. Peaches, nectarines, apricots and almonds are just a few of the types of fruits it can grow. When the tree blossoms, it’s a magic sight! The hues of pink and purple are incredibly beautiful and just look totally surreal.
