- 450g medium-thick asparagus, woody ends trimmed
Instructions:
- Prepare the Foil Packets:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lay out two large pieces of aluminum foil on a baking sheet.
- Assemble the Ingredients:
- Place a salmon fillet in the center of each foil piece.
- Arrange half of the asparagus around each salmon fillet.
- Prepare the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In a small bowl, combine the vegetable or chicken broth, lemon juice, hot sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle half of this mixture over each salmon fillet and asparagus arrangement.
- Dot each packet with butter cubes.
- Seal and Bake:
- Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon and asparagus, covering them completely, and seal the packets closed.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.
