In a scene like never before, a dolphin and a dog share a spontaneous encounter at the beach. Even though it is so unlikely for these two species to interact, it turns out that dogs and dolphins are actually great fond of each other. We have been witnessed them sharing special moments, for so many times, and this one is no different!
Anastasia Vinnikova has taken her dog Patrick, for a walk on the beach, when she had the experience of her lifetime. The duo was enjoying the sunset on the Opuk beach on Crimea’s Black Sea coast, when Anastasia noticed a pod of dolphins swimming pretty close to the beach. But little did she know, they can get even closer.
All of a sudden, one of the dolphins had swam towards the beach, nearly reaching the shore, in a heartwarming attempt to interact with the dog. Driven by curiosity, the playful dog instantly became fascinated by the friendly marine creature, and it did not take too long until the two joined in a game of chase through the peaceful waves.
The spontaneous encounter continued for a couple of minutes, with the dolphin swimming back into the sea, and returning inches close to the beach for a few times. On one occasion, Patrick nearly touches the marine mammal’s tail as he’s chasing it into the water.
The heartwarming moment was caught on camera and shared online by Anastasia, and people just can’t get enough of it. “Patrick has touched a dolphin but I still haven’t,” the woman wrote on Instagram. “In the clip, no one was hurt. The dolphins are swimming close to the shore to catch fish.”
