Whether we like to admit it or not, being in high school is no walk in the park. Especially today with social media taking over and kids feeling more and more pressured to look and act a certain way, high school is hard.
Sadly, being different is often seen as a flaw in high school, so students that don’t necessarily fit in with the rest tend to be targeted by other students. But it’s not all sunshine and butterflies for the popular kids either. Everyone can feel like an outsider from time to time and have to deal with unpleasant situations.
Tori Adams, a cheerleader for the Northwestern Eagles, was the only representative of her squad due to illness, and the cheerleaders from the rival squad didn’t exactly welcome her with open hands at first.
However, as you can see from the video below, the girls changed their minds and actually invited Tori to cheer with their team. The combined squads ended up swapping cheers to support each other during the tournament.
Everybody needs to see this display of fair play and basic human kindness, so please take a moment to share this with others who might appreciate it as well. Thanks for watching!
