There have been a lot of stories lately about children being mistreated at day care. For a parent, there’s nothing worse than hearing their children have been physically or verbally abused in a place which was supposed to be safe.
It’s difficult enough to have to leave your child at day care even without having to think about something bad happening to them. Luckily, there are still many day care workers who are passionate about what they do and who go to extreme lengths to create a welcome and comfortable environment for children.
The woman in the video below is definitely one of those people. Even when she was going through the worse time in her life, the woman still showed up for work and did her job right. The woman was battling cancer, but she wouldn’t miss a day of work.
Her commitment and incredible work ethic makes her invaluable to Alex Rios, the owner of Kids’ Kollege Learning Center, the place where she works. The man decided to show her just how important she is to his team by giving her a generous gift that she desperately needed.
