Most people I know who go on fishing trips do so as a way to relax and forget about their troubles for at least a few hours. But the men in the video below got so much more than that; they got to experience a once in a lifetime moment, and it was all caught on video.
The men were on a fishing trip off the Long Island Sound and made the catch of a lifetime, but it’s definitely not what you’d expect. It’s not a huge fish they’ve managed to catch. Instead, they got to rescue another life, namely a full-sized deer that was in great danger.
The deer somehow made its way down to the middle of the Long Island Sound and was about to drown when the fishermen saw it and immediately sprang into action. Thanks to the hero fishermen who rescued it, the deer managed to survive and return back to the wild. This is the kind of story that any fisherman would love to have in their bag of stories, that’s for sure!
