Kelsey, a teenage girl from Illinois, and her mom were on the way to a swap meeting early in the morning when they came across a starving horse. The horse was obviously malnourished and possible abused. Most likely, it ran away from home in a desperate attempt to find food. The horse wouldn’t get in a trailer, but Kelsey decided it was no she would just leave the poor animal to die there. So she walked the horse back to her home, 9 miles away. It took her no less than four hours to get home, but she says no effort is too big if it saves a life.
